Had a yummy lunch here today! The potato and leek Bolani were crisp and flavorful, and went well with the chutneys. I enjoyed my triple combo platter, the chicken and beef kabob were moist and delicious. I got the plain brown rice which I enjoyed. Service was quick and the interior of the restaurant is nice, although the overall restaurant is a bit hole in the wall-y and tough to find. Would return for the kabobs though!

great food and i love the ye bolani. Chabli kabab was good too. we order qabil and we didn't get to eat it.

The bodinjon borani (roasted eggplant) was amazing. The butternut squash bolani was delicious as well, I loved the chutney. I'll try the leek one next time. The lamb kabob was flavorful but a little dry, I would give it another chance though. I would try the chicken or beef next time though. Service was great. We sat outside and it was a nice patio.

Still an amazing Afghan restaurant in Fremont. I'll continue to come here whenever I'm in the area, and crave it when I'm away!

The ground sirloin kabob (which was actually a patty) was awesome. Extremely flavorful and moist. The teka kabob (beef) had good taste, but was a little overcooked and dry. This place is a hole in the wall, that I would not have ever gone to, but was in the area and a friend met up with me and took me here. It was the middle of day for lunch, so it wasn't busy, but it was a little slow on the service side. My friend has a triple combo which also included chicken. The chicken was moist and tasted good. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely get a slab of the chaplee kabob/patty again!

The food here is always amazing!! Staff is very friendly. The inside is small and cozy but there is outdoor seating as well. I ordered the triple skewer plate which comes with rice and cucumber salad - sooo delish! Its even better when you add the sour cream

LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant! I've dined at De Afghanan Cuisine multiple times and it never disappoints. Food has consistently been good and you can't go wrong ordering any of kabobs combos. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious but it does get busy packed during the weekend. Prepare to wait a bit for seating and for the food to come out. I always get the triple kabob plate with brown rice which allows you to try all 3 types of of meat. Perfect for someone that has trouble deciding what to order. The bodinjon borani (roasted eggplant) appetizer is also a must order here! I like to pair it with the bread that they give and I always ask for extra bread. Whenever my friends are visiting me from out of town, I always take them to De Afghanan and they always leave super impressed.

This place is awesome. Their Kabobs are delicious, I recommend the combination to try different meats. The Bolani with Leek was wonderful, and I also liked their Sabzi spinach dish. Food was excellent, service was efficient. Clean and cozy inside, great for small groups. Parking and GPS maps can be a little confusing. There is parking off street behind the restaurant.

(5 out of 5) The food here is amazing, I'm gonna give it a 4.9 only because right next store they have another restaurant that is takeout that is just .1 better!!! One of my best friends is afghan and his whole family come here consistently. Im lucky to have them share their culture and cuisine with me. The cool thing about the sit down restaurant is great because you can get as much chutney and afghani yogurt. I also love the feel of the restaurant, the entrance is very cool looking and when you walk in you can see them cooking the kabobs! Service is exceptional. Amazing family owned buisness When you come tell them Rothyy sent you!
